UTC Miri

Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Miri officially open on March 16, 2016. It will be the second UTC in the state and 13th in the country. UTC consists of 14 agencies opens to serve the people.


The centre will be located at the MCC’s One-Stop Centre on the ground floor, level 1, 2, and 5 of the its multi-storey car park and contains vital government departments and agencies including the National Registration Department, Immigration Department, Road Transport Department, Inland Revenue Board, Police, 1Malaysia Clinic, LAKU Management and Sarawak Energy. The centre could provide the public with frequently sought-after government services outside normal working hours such as renewal of driving licence, road tax, bill payment, passport application and renewal, issuance of identity cards and postal services.

Miri Resident office,
Miri District Office,
Immigration Department,
1Malaysia Clinic,
Road Transport Department (JPJ)


Level 1 of the UTC Miri, would be the state and federal agencies including the police, National Registration, MCC, Road Transport Department (JPJ), Income Tax, National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), 1Malaysia Clinic and Child Care Centre. 

Level 2 occupied by The Immigration Department.

Level 5 occupied by Youth and Sports Complex with multipurpose courts (badminton – 3, basketball – 1, futsal – 1) a fitness studio, gym, cyber centre and area for indoor games.


Level 3, 4 and part of Level 5 are for parking.

Opening Hours :
Monday - Saturday : 8am - 9pm daily (except public holidays).
