Crocodile Farm cum Mini Zoo

Located near Kuala Baram River Mouth (previous Ferry Terminal), a pleasant scenic Coastal drive along Miri-Kuala Baram Road from Miri about 24km and will take you there in 25 minutes drive. The First and the Largest Crocodile Farm in the northern region of Sarawak, The Crocodile farm is 22-acre and is official opening on August 16, 1998. The Crocodile Farm cum Mini Zoo is registered and recognised by Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES, Registration No. A-MY-509).

Crocodile Farm
Come face to face with more than 1,000 Estuarine Crocodile (Crocodylus Porosus) and Malayan Gharial (Tomistoma Schlegelii) in a 22 acres land-scaped setting with natural breeding enclosure and perfectly man-made sanctuary ponds specially carved out for the creatures. A stroll around its perimeter allows you to safely view an amazing collection of crocodiles up close. The crocodile farm opens everyday of the year, is home to about 2,000 crocodiles of different species as well as other exotic animals from tropical countries.

Mini Zoo
In mini zoo, has about 0 species of exotic animals such as Southern Cassowary, Python, Snakes, Flying Fox Bat, Bear Cat (Binturong), Sun Bears, Civets, Squirrels, Turtles, Dears, Owls, Pigeons, Peacocks, Tiong Bird (Talking Bird), Gibbon, Porcupines, a band of cheerful Monkeys, Macaques, Small Crocodiles. The different species of foreign and domestic animals like Sheep, Goats, Horse, Pigeon, Wild Turkey are kept in spacious cages.

Visitors are allowed to feed the animals with bananas available at our canteen. Take a leisure and educational tour around our mini zoo and learn about the animals and their habitat. It will provide an enlightening and awe-inspiring experience for school students, interest-organisations, associations and individuals of all ages.

Their also have Boat Ride, Horse Ride, Feeding of Crocodile, Photo with Python services.

Visitors can purchase farm products and crocodile-related merchandise like crocodile skin. They are mainly for export to Singapore, at an average of RM800 per piece depending on quality, while the meat are sold at RM60/kg depending on parts.

Visitor can eat at the canteen when, hungry and try herbal soup for RM10 per bowl, deep fried crocodile meat (RM5 per portion) or RM5 per stick for satay.
